Winners of this year’s Soul Train Awards

today’s greatest soul and R&B Artist celebrated in 2022 soul train award It aired tonight on BET. Hosted by comedian Deon Cole, the annual ceremony was held at the Orleans Theater in Las Vegas to honor musicians past and present for their contributions to the genre.

So So Def founder and producer Jermaine Dupri presented Xscape with the coveted Lady of Soul Award. Upon acceptance, her ’90s R&B group performed a medley of her biggest hits, including “My Little Secret,” “Who Can I Run To?,” “Tonight,” and “Just Kickin It.”

80’s funk brand Morris Day & The Time also won the Legend Award and capped off the night with a performance of their classic hits ‘Cool’, ‘777’, ‘Jungle Love’ and ‘Bird’.

Throughout the awards ceremony, singers Shante Moore, Coco Jones, Sir and Muni Long took the stage to showcase fan favorites among the other entertainers who took home the biggest awards of the night. Scroll down to see who took home the top honors.
