While still married, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen enrolled in a family counseling program

Before settling their separation on Friday, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen attended and graduated from Parent Education and Family Stabilization classes.

Page Six reports that the NFL star, 45, and his former supermodel, 42, took the four-hour course on Oct. 25 and 26, respectively. Bündchen’s certificate states that class attendance is mandatory.

Divorced or separated parents are required by Florida law to attend this class. The purpose of the class is to inform, instruct and support parents on the impact of separation on both parents and children.

Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, are the biological children of Brady and Bundchen. Benjamin is the older of her two children. Jack, now 15, is the product of the former partner of the legendary quarterback who was with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

Bündchen filed for separation on Friday after 13 years of marriage, citing the irrevocably broken marriage as the reason, according to court filings.

The documents also reveal that the separated couple have reached an agreement on a marriage reconciliation arrangement that they will keep private.

Both sides expressed their opinions and reactions on social media as soon as the split became apparent. Bundchen wrote on her Instagram story that she wants to dedicate her life to her children with all her heart, as she has done from the beginning.

We are no longer close. It is inevitable that we will go through something this difficult, but Tom and I were lucky in our time together and wish him all the best in the future. I’m here.

In a message posted on Instagram, Brady said he and his soon-to-be ex-wife have come to a painful and challenging choice after much thought.

He concluded that all we can do is give each other the best as we move into various new stages of our lives that have yet to be recorded.
