When Gautham Menon revealed the story of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu at Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa
After the release of Gautam Menon’s latest movie Vendu Tanindatu Kaadu, a clip of his 2010 blockbuster Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa has been circulating on social media. In the aforementioned clip, Silambarasan’s Karthik outlines the gist of the gangster movie story. “How did he get into this? How did he go wild and become a don and finally a villa? That’s the story,” Karthik tells his cinematographer VTV Ganesh. .
And the clip has been shared, suggesting that this is also Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’s conspiracy in a nutshell. “Apo Priyala!! Ippo Priyuth!!! Time Travel (I didn’t understand it then, but now I understand it),” a fan of Simbu wrote while sharing the clip.

Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu marks the reunion of Gautham Menon and Simbu after six years. The duo’s first collaboration was with her Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, before they came together for the 2016 action film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. VTK is touted as a departure from Gautham’s conventional storytelling his style. He is said to take a very down-to-earth approach to telling VTK’s story.

The trailer suggested that the film would be the story of an innocent migrant worker who would be drawn into a world of crime and eventually take control of it. Like , this movie also has music by AR Rahman.
