Watch ‘The Sinner’ on Netflix, not ‘The Watcher’ or ‘Dahmer’

“Murder” seems to be a common theme in Netflix’s Top 10 charts these days, with Dahmer becoming one of the service’s most popular series to date and The Watcher currently at number one. Unsolved Mysteries, Midnight Club, and Sinner round out the top five.

Recommend the only show here No Netflix original, sinnerhas just released its fourth season on Netflix.

The Sinner was originally on USA Network and was a one-off with several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations in the “Limited Series” category. However, as is often the case with many limited series, it became a season show because of its success. There are four seasons in all and no more. Now that the series is over, you can watch it from beginning to end.

A common thread in all seasons is Bill Pullman as beleaguered detective Harry Ambrose, who stumbles upon increasingly bizarre crimes and remains too closely involved in them. The series has produced four very good seasons on Rotten Tomatoes, scoring 90%, 97%, 85% and 88% for seasons 1-4 respectively. Seasons 1 and 3 were probably my favorites. I actually haven’t finished all 2 yet for some reason, but I’ve heard good things. And I really liked Season 4, which just came to Netflix.

Get lots of True Detective season 1 vibes from The Sinner. This is the highest accolade that can be given in the crime genre. The case is very strange, and the show has an artistry that escapes most other series, especially the likes of The Watcher and Dahmer, which we’re comparing here. might have been an okay series, but Sinner isn’t based on real killings or real murderers, so there’s no moral issue with investing in it.

you don’t Have Watch all the seasons in order. I didn’t feel like I missed out so much skipping season two. However, season 4 does at least make specific references to season 3. The first season may be the most memorable due to Jessica Biel’s involvement. Jessica Biel hasn’t been on the show since season one, but she’s been the producer for the entire show. Matt Bomer has had a particularly disturbing performance in Season 3 as well. And Pullman himself is always great.

Netflix’s various Most Popular lists are now almost exclusively Netflix originals, with most other series owners bringing content to their respective home platforms at this point. The sinner is a rare case of an old deal that’s still valid, and let’s be honest, who’s watching USA Network in 2022?

Yeah, give sinners a chance. There’s a lot of good mystery and content to get you through for quite some time.
