‘Bhediya’ is the third installment in Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy series, following ‘Stree’ and ‘Roohi’. Varun played the central character Bhaskar Sharma who transforms into a werewolf, also known as Bedhya, in the film. Criti Sanon as a female leader. Abhishek Banerjee, Pablin Kabak, Deepak Dobriyal, Saurabh Shukla and others appeared in supporting roles.

The post-climactic sequence of ‘Bhediya’ featured the characters of Rajkummar Rao and Aparshakti Khurrana from ‘Stree’, further confirming that both films belonged to the same universe. Similarly, Varun is reportedly expected to play ‘Bhediya’ again in ‘Stree 2’.
