Trevor Noah concludes seven years as Daily Show host in December

On Wednesday, the network revealed that the 38-year-old late-night host will be leaving permanently on Dec. 8. When Jon Stewart took over as host in 2015, Noah presided over the Comedy Central program. I’m here.
In a statement, Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios CEO Chris McCarthy called Noah “an extraordinary performer who left an indelible mark on The Daily Show.”
Noah writes:
Noah said he can’t wait to find out what lies ahead. After the holiday break, the show will resume on January 17th. However, Noah’s successor has not yet been announced.
Seven years after hosting the late-night talk show, the host announced a video posted to Twitter at the end of September.
After appearing on The Daily Show, he was filled with gratitude. He thanked the crowd for their support over the past seven years and said, “There are so many people to pull this thing together.”
It was completely insane. So many people didn’t believe us when we first started.The bet was insane. It still seemed like a silly decision… wow, this was quite the journey.
The Daily Show’s first season was hosted by Craig Kilborn. From 1999 he was in charge until 2015 with Stewart. After Noah took over as host of The Daily Show in 2020, Stewart discussed developing the show.
While appearing on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Stewart clarified that this was not intended as a personal attack. The development of television also taught us about the daily workings of the business world.
