HollywoodLife: When and how did you meet Kyle?
Alexa: I met Kyle through Facebook in 2012. This was her 10 years ago and we were her 21 or so. we share a mutual friend. There was no show when I met Kyle. It was just an idea about the show.
Hollywood Life: When you married Kyle, what did his father, Todd, think of your marriage?
Alexa: We first got married in April 2014. Todd was furious and annulled our marriage as Kyle’s adult guardianship. We then remarried later that year after the guardianship was overturned. He seemed fine with us dating but was completely against us getting married and establishing anything permanent. Based on that, Todd came to believe that Kyle never envisioned being with a woman of color like me.
Hollywood Life: Has Todd ever changed his mind about you?
Alexa: My parents are Jamaican. So, being from the Caribbean and raised in France, race wasn’t a factor for me when I fell in love with Kyle. We both had fathers who were real estate magnates, so there were similarities in our backgrounds.
Hollywood Life: How was Kyle’s relationship with his father during their marriage?
Alexas: Kyle did well with little to no contact with his father. When Kyle reunited with his father, shortly before the indictment, he said he was going to retract all that he said badly about him and wanted me to write an affidavit to do the same. I refused. This was part of the marital problem.
HollywoodLife: What do you think the prosecution was trying to prove in their latest lawsuit?
Alexa: I think they were trying to prove that Todd was being unfaithful and that there were holes in his story. was
HollywoodLife: From your perspective, do you think Todd and Julie knew what they were doing was wrong?
Alexa: I think they knew what they were doing. The jury saw evidence that proved they knew what they were doing was wrong. They lied to get money from loans. They lied to everyone about their wealth. They are modern day Bonnie and Clyde.
HollywoodLife: Do you think they got a fair sentence?
Alexa: Given their complete lack of accountability, I think their sentence was light. It is highly likely that they thought this would pass as well.
HollywoodLife: How old was Kyle’s daughter Chloe when she met him?
Alexa: Khloe was only a few months old when she started dating Kyle. When I met him, Todd had guardianship of Kyle because of his problems with his addiction. Chloe was already living with Todd and Julie and Chloe’s mom. My heart goes out to Chloe. Children deserve a stable environment.
HollywoodLife: Are you still talking to Kyle?
Alexa: Not at all. The last time I saw him was in court earlier this year.
HollywoodLife: If you could say anything to Todd, what would it be?
Alexus: I would like to apologize for making hurtful comments about me on public broadcasts and for his attempts to undermine me. I don’t expect this to happen. I forgive him in advance and want him to know that I am praying for him, Julie, and their entire family.
HollywoodLife: What about the rest of the Chrisley family?
Alexa: I will always hold a special place in my heart for Kyle, Lindsey, Nanny Faye, Chloe, and Kyle’s mother Teresa.
