This is Tuesday. It looks like it’s snowing. Winter is finally doing its thing, though we only have one month left in the season before spring comes. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for another Wordle.

Today’s answer to Wordle
As usual, we won’t be handing out today’s answer without warning about a healthy spoiler. Reading on, you will get a hint and then the solution to today’s puzzle. You have been warned!
Hint: Willow Ufgood changed his name to this.
And the answer is this. . . .
You may have seen the George Lucas / Ron Howard film Willow back then. It’s a bit of an annoying movie, but I love it to pieces. This is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again and never get tired.
Well, fewer people know that a trilogy of fiction novels written by Chris Clermont and George Lucas was later released. In these books at the very beginning Willow Ufgud takes on a new name: Thorn Drumheller. I will not spoil anything more about books if you decide to read them (here is the first).
So this is an explanation of my hint. I had mixed feelings about the novels – they are quite different in tone and feeling from the film, and quite tricky and confusing, but I’m glad I read them. There is also a new show is coming to Disney Plus that I am very excited aboutthough, as in all new show-like The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power– I test my excitement with healthy skepticism.
As for my process of guessing about it, BROIL came to my mind for no reason at all and this time it became a pretty good word (I never use the same word twice – it’s sad!). a good choice, since ‘R’ is often followed by ‘O’, and lo and behold, here is OR in green and ‘T’.
True, I didn’t think ABORT would be the word, but I wanted to see if ‘T’ was the finish or the start. From here, with the first letter ‘T’ I pretty quickly came to THORN, although I guess there are other options. And that was it!
I hope your week started well, my dear Wordlers. I feel a little more in tune this week than last for no particular reason. Perhaps it is a dream of spring.
