Taskmaster Champion of Champions 2 | Meet the celebrity winners

Channel 4 may have just crowned its latest Taskmaster winner – congratulations to Sophie Ducker – but the comedy game show is back Special Champion of 2022 Champions tonight, so if you missed Greg Davis and Alex Horn, you won’t have to wait long until you see them again.

The winners of seasons 6 through 10 return to the Taskmaster stage to get a chance to win another title – and for most of them it will be the first time they appear on the Channel 4 show.

From the usual Mock the Week by Ed Gamble to After life star Carrie Godliman, the winners of the show return to take part in another round of ridiculous trials – but who are they?

Here’s everything you need to know about Taskmaster: Champion of Champions 2.

Ed Gamble

Ed Gamble is a comedian and podcast presenter who is best known for appearing on Mock the Week and leading the Off Menu with James Aaster.

Gamble took part in the ninth season of Taskmaster in 2019, beating such as David Bedill, Joe Brand, Katie Weeks and Rose Matafeo to become champions.

It should be one of the rotating co-hosts replace Richard Osman with Pointless and has appeared in the British Great Menu, Russell Howard’s Good News and Man Down.

Carrie Godliman is a comedian and actress best known for her roles in shows such as Derek, After Life and Bad Move.

She took part in the seventh series of Taskmaster, having managed to beat such as Phil Wang, Rod Gilbert, Jessica Knapet and James Aaster.

Godliman is also known for her roles as teenagers in Save Me and for her roles in Carter Get Rich, Our Girl, Adult Material, Trigger Point, and Treadstone.

Won: Season 6

Comedian and presenter Lisa Tarbak won the sixth season of Taskmaster, beating such as Asim Chody, Alice Levin, Russell Howard and Tim Vine.

Throughout her career she has led The Big Breakfast, Blockbusters, Time Team and Celebrity Game Night, and has appeared in QI, 8 of 10 Cats, Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Hypothetical.

She has also appeared in shows such as Upstart Crow, Silent Witness, Miranda, Skins and Mount Pleasant.

Lou Sanders

Won: Season 8

Comedian and writer Lou Sanders has appeared on panel shows from QI and Would I Lie to You ?, to 8 of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Travel Man.

She also starred in the films This Way Up, Sick of It and Lazy Susan, while in 2019 she won the eighth season of Taskmaster, competing with Joe Thomas, Ian Stirling, Paul Singh and Sian Gibson.

Richard the Herring

Richard Herring won the 10th launch of Taskmaster – the first show to air on Channel 4 – in a competition against Mawaan Rizwan, Catherine Parkinson, Johnny Vegas and Daisy May Cooper.

Herring is a stand-up comedian and podcaster best known for his double-acting work with Stuart Lee.

He has appeared in “I Have News for You,” “This Morning,” and the comedy show “Fist of Fun,” and as for radio, he has hosted “Lee and Herring,” “It Was, It’s Now.” Collings and Herring “and” Bad Language “. He currently hosts a Richard Herring podcast at the Leicester Square Theater.
