According to reports, Pocket aces who has TV series like “Trivia” on credit, bought the rights to a remake of Korean drama. Confirming the development, JTBC issued a statement: “We have recently confirmed the production of the Indian remake of Something In the Rain from Pocket Aces, India’s largest digital entertainment company.”
For the uninitiated, “Something In The Rain,” also known as “The Beautiful Nun Who Buys Me Food,” revolves around a woman in her 30s who falls in love with her best friend’s younger brother. The series touches on several issues, from taboos to dating and ending with career taboos, as the main struggle with their relationship against all, including age differences, family abandonment, harassment in the workplace and more.
