It is this love and connection that gives me the strength to meet the endless challenges that life throws at me.” “A few months ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myositis. After being in remission, I wanted to share this. But it’s been taking a little longer than I thought.”

The memo further states: Accepting this vulnerability is something I still struggle with. Doctors are confident that I will make a full recovery soon. I had good days and bad days… Both physically and mentally… And even if it feels like this won’t last another day, somehow the moment will pass. I think it just means you are one day closer to recovery. I love you.. this too will pass.
