Ryan’s doctors revealed the results of the process, as seen in a video Ryan, 45, shared on Instagram. September 13.
“They prepared me so well that I was able to find a very subtle polyp on the right side of my colon.” Dr. Lapook said to Ryan. “This could have saved your life. No kidding. Not overly dramatic.”
Surgery is not something Ryan takes lightly, and he filmed the experience to share with the world. What made him capture the process on camera? It all started with a bet.
Ryan, co-chairman of Welsh football team Wrexham AFC, made a bet with fellow co-chairmen Rob McElhenney If Rob can learn some Welsh, Ryan will need to film a colonoscopy video. Ryan loses the bet, but gains important information about his health.
