Cantara gradually became one of the biggest hits of 2022. Directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, the film is nudging towards the 100 crore mark. Good word of mouth and positive reviews are the main reason for the film’s success. By the way, the film was originally not widely promoted outside of Karnataka, but was released in the north on Friday after rumors spread about its goodness. Hombal Films of KGF fame is funding Kantara, with Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar and Pramod Shetty also playing key roles. Filmed by Arvind S Kashyap, who has been acclaimed for his climactic sequences. Meanwhile, the film’s music was composed by He B Ajaneesh Loknath.
