Officials said the crossing on the banks of the Saryu River was developed at an estimated cost of Rs 7.9 crore. A 40-foot-long, 12-meter-tall, 14-tonne veena was installed at the intersection, they said.

This intersection will be a major attraction for tourists and music lovers. According to the authorities, this is the first time such a huge musical instrument has been installed in Japan.
Satyendra Singh, secretary of the Ayodhya Development Authority, which is managing the project, told PTI that Rs 7.9 crore was spent on the development of the crossing, one of Ayodhya’s biggest projects.
