Ms. Marvel director hints at possible second season of Disney+ series

The Marvel Cinematic Universe diverged its format in Phase 4 by including shows streaming on Disney+ in addition to films already in production. The show format was a huge success as it spawned many great series including Loki, Moon Knight, WandaVision and of course Ms. Marvel.

Ms. Marvel has introduced a new superhero to the MCU named Kamala Khan. Kamala is a Pakistani-American living in New Jersey. She’s a huge fan of the Avengers and all of her MCU superheroes, but especially Captain She’s a big fan of Carol Marvel’s Danvers. Kamala ends up gaining her own powers and finds out that her lineage does not actually belong to Earth, but to another dimension.

The show received great reviews from critics and fans alike, especially in the hero’s home country of Pakistan, and people are excited to see what adventures Kamala Khan has next.

Part of her future is known because she’s been confirmed to star in the upcoming Marvels alongside Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau, but what fans really want to know is Ms. It’s whether or not Marvel will be renewed for Season 2.

Recently, rumors have been circulating that Marvel has secretly given Ms. Marvel the green light for a second season and has yet to announce it. There was nothing concrete behind these rumors yet, but in a recent Instagram post made by the Ms. Marvel director, they all but confirmed season 2 of the show.

In this video, the director talks about making the first season and shows how he approached superheroes. The caption below it reads:

“Who remembers their time in the MCU and is ready for Season 2?!”

This almost guarantees a season 2, with the season 1 director reigning supreme.
