Modern Warfare II Beta Now Available — Here’s Everything You Need to Know and How to Play

Modern Warfare II Doesn’t release until October 28th, but is free to play now during the game’s two-week open beta period.

This first weekend is exclusive to PlayStation owners. If you have a PS4 or PS5 and have a PlayStation Plus, you’re ready to start the action.

The only caveat here is that you must pre-order the game or receive a free early access key to play the first 48 hours of the beta.

From now until Sunday, September 18th at 10am PT, the beta is in early access. It opens to all PlayStation gamers on Sunday at 10am and runs through Tuesday, September 20th.

Weekend 2 begins next Thursday, September 22nd at 10am PT. The first 48 hours are open to all PlayStation gamers and his Xbox and PC players who have pre-ordered the game or received an early access code.

Then, on Saturday, September 24th at 10am PT, the beta will open to all players with internet access on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Battle.net and Steam). etc.) will be published.
