Jonathan Majors Says He’s Already Started Talking to Avengers: Kang Dynasty Director

The first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films were all focused on building towards the culminating event, Avengers: Endgame. The film featured a battle with Thanos (played by Josh Brolin), the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s greatest villain, who had been teased since the first Avengers movie in 2012.

Following Thanos’ defeat in Avengers: Endgame, a void was left for Marvel’s next big bad.

Kang is played in the MCU by actor Jonathan Majors. The variant of his character introduced in Loki was much milder, but following the events of Loki, a malevolent and tyrannical variant of the same character would appear in future projects, with Kang’s story building culminating in the 2025 movie Avengers: Kang Dynasty.

The highly anticipated film is currently three years away, but actor Jonathan Majors has revealed that he’s started talking to the film’s director, Destin Daniel Cretton, about the project. ring.

Majors revealed in an interview with Variety that he’s only met Destin a few times so far. Here is his full comment:
