Ghost role inspired by Daniel Pinnock’s Body Positive Journey

Daniel Pinnock I didn’t say “Boo!”when ghost creator Joe Port When Joe Wiseman Asked if her real-life body positivity journey is available in season 2.

The actress who plays the late 1920s jazz singer Alberta CBS Comedyrevealed that when two showrunners approached her to see if she would be comfortable exploring this storyline in the new season, her response was “absolutely.”

The October 6th episode follows Alberta as it embraces the harsh truth. To succeed in her career, she yelled at her rival Clara. While this went against everything she stood for as a flamboyant flapper, Alberta said turning on Clara was the only way the plus-size performer had a chance to shine. I admit that

But Daniel didn’t just paint this vulnerable story. As Daniel detailed, her Alberta monologue came out of her conversation with her showrunner, declaring that she had to be her own “biggest fan.”

“We talked a lot about that scene,” she recalled. “They were like, ‘What is it that gives Alberta her confidence? And at this moment, I want to see her vulnerable.’ As an individual, if I don’t ride or die for myself, no one else can.”
