Christine Brown: Should have left Kody years ago!

Christine Brown continued to keep it real this week in Sister Wives.

genuine and Rawshould be said.

“I think we need to be free from each other,” Christine told psychic spouse Cody Brown during the Sunday, Sept. 18 installment of the TLC series.

“Before COVID it was terrible. 10, 12 was the worst.”

Christine Brown has a lot to think about. This is a picture from Season 2 of Sister Wife Season 17.

As usual, this episode was filmed about a year ago, before Christine announced to the universe that she was leaving polygamy.

The mother of six children, who was spiritually married to Sister Wives patriarch in 1994, shares the following children with Cody.

Son Paedon, 23, and daughters Aspin, 27, Mykelti, 26, Gwendolyn, 20, Isabelle, 19, and Truly, 12.

She is very candid with her quasi-husband throughout two episodes of Season 17, telling him: she returns to utah And even admit that it’s mostly Because he clearly supports Robin.

Christine didn’t say a single word on Sunday night why she came to this decision.

“Maybe it’s okay to move on,” she confessed.

“Looking back now, I wish I hadn’t left Vegas to come here.”

Cody actually admitted he reacted unfairly when Christine first told him he needed to be “free” after years of misery.

“I want to apologize for being angry,” he said on air, adding:

“You have to get to a place where you can rejoice in your happiness and freedom.”

However, Kody clearly isn’t there yet, as evidenced by other scenes in this episode. Accused Christine of planning to move back to Utah.

Robin Brown, on the other hand, noted during the episode that of all the drama with Christine, Cody “isn’t himself.”

In this scene from the first episode of The Sister Wife season 17, Cody Brown stares at Christine with a dagger.

“I miss my husband. Every time I try to talk to him, I get mad at him,” she said.

“I’ve tried to talk to my sister’s wives, I’ve tried to talk to Cody, but you know, no one is willing to talk. I’m starting to feel really helpless.”

The main theme this week centered around how Cody spent a lot of time at Robin’s house, causing Robin to get defensive at times.

“It’s hard to compare what Cody is doing at Robin’s house to what he’s doing at my house,” Christine said Sunday.

“He just broke off his engagement at my house. My kids and I hike all the time. I was doing it, so I brought it here.”

Janelle echoed this sentiment.

“When he’s at my house, he doesn’t come home until 6 p.m.,” she says, adding that since she has a youngest child, Cody is often at Robin’s house.

As you might imagine, Robin denied being Cody’s favorite, revealing during his confession:

“They think so, but I’m not being treated favorably.”

She explained, “Cody was in my house a lot by default because of decisions other wives were making.”

She also expressed concern about how Kodi’s COVID-19 protocol has changed the way family units interact.

“I love Cody dearly, but this isn’t what I chose. His other relationships are stressing him out too much, so I don’t think it’s really fun to be with him anyway.” I don’t think so,” she continued.

“He’s an angry man right now. What’s going on with him and Christine…I’ve never seen him like this before.

Christine Brown doesn’t miss Kody at all. She has made it clear many times since leaving her spiritual marriage.

Global pandemic or not, Christine has made it clear she hasn’t been grieving for long, and believes she has no choice here.

“I think the healthier thing for me and our family is for me to leave,” she said.

“I thought I couldn’t help being sad. I think I was sadder than I thought.

“I tried to be as happy as possible, but certainly I still found joy in things. Plural marriage is hard.”

Sister Wives airs Sunday nights on TLC at 10/9c.
