Benson High crowns Rebu Boaz as Princess of 2022 – North East and North Portland Neighborhood News

March 1, g.p. Reba Boozejunior, was named as Benson High School 2022 Holy roses princess.

Booze – daughter Milborn and Rachel booze and plans to do an internship in the medical field.

“I hope to gain new skills through practice and under the guidance of those who are more knowledgeable and knowledgeable,” she said. “As a young person committed to medicine and science, I would like to be among those who value current research in modern society. As for my future career plans, I am very fond of the ways that clinical research involves. ”

Booze is acting executive secretary of Benson’s student council. She is also an MAC Scholar athlete, a member of the Student Sports Team and the National Honors Society, a camp guide at Camp Elso and is among the top three in the PIL district in the 100-meter hurdles.

“One of my most proud moments in high school was that I was hired to raise awareness of the Portland cultural environment through an intensive one-year paid internship called Tappin‘ Roots, ’” she said. “In my free time I like to be active in the fresh air and communicate with nature. One of the ways to become more active is through music. African American literature is my favorite material to read. ”

My favorite place to drink in the city – Tilikum Bridge.

“It offers a beautiful view of our city,” she said. “The design is useful for many modes of transport, from public transport to cyclists.”

Booze is a fan of the city’s Rose Festival Fair.

“As a kid, it was always fun to relax,” she said. “Attending special events in local areas gave me the opportunity to participate in an inclusive community.”
