Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan said he was ‘caged’ at his parents’ house and refused Big Boss because he didn’t want to be locked up again

In a new interview with The Times of India, Faisal talks about turning down an offer to appear on the next season of reality show Bigg Boss, saying joining the show was like being “caged”. He said he had already been caged once at Aamir’s house and was unwilling to sacrifice his freedom at any cost.

In 2008, Faisal accused his brother of trying to put him under house arrest and detain him. He told his Hindustan Times: Actually, I was kidnapped.. I was put under house arrest and drugs were given to me that I didn’t want. I have announced that I can handle life on my own. I should be treated as a normal human being. ”

Faisal said he is now on good terms with his brother and lives in his parents’ house. “Of course, I talk to him. We meet and greet each other from time to time. But the problem is, he’s very busy with his life and I’m suffering in a busy life.” But he did not mince words when he criticized Aamir’s “opportunistic” apology for his controversial past remarks upon the release of his film Laal Singh Chaddha. Faisal said that Aamir was correct in apologizing, but that the apology should have been made in advance, not when there was a movie to promote.

As for Laal Singh Chaddha itself, Faisal said he’s seen the film (a remake of the Hollywood hit Forrest Gump), but feels it’s only partially working. He said Aamir should have picked a better project to return to cinema after a four-year gap.
